New lenses from Canon

Right after Nikon annouced Nikon D800/D800E, Canon annouced 3 EF lens which are Canon EF 24-70 F/2.8L II USM, Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM & Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM. Canon EF 24-70 F/2.8L II USM will be the highlight of the annoucement but what exactly is the different in terms of photo quality compare to 1st generation EF 24-70 F/2.8L USM, that will have to wait for reviewers to publish their comparison result photo. There is 1 feature that certainly most Canonian expect and hope to have on Canon EF 24-70 F/2.8L II USM but didnt come true, it is Image Stabilization (IS). However, this features was incorperated in 2 new wide angle lens, 24mm f/2.8 IS USM & EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM.
